thrown shot

Post by ditchhook » Wed Apr 11, 2018 5:15 pm

By taking careful aim, a scout or assassin is able to deliver a high
accuracy ranged attack against their target. The attacker must be wielding a
thrown weapon. Thrown Shot is available to scouts and assassins only.

What is the definition of a "thrown weapon"? Using a bow, my arrows disappear once they are fired. Will thrown weapons disappear once thrown? Are darts thrown weapons?

-a one handed Thrown class weapon-
They are a specific class of weapons. There are just a few around. You wield it. ts <enemy>. Then pick it up off the ground and go again or attack with something else.
Right now it is basically a quick first shot with no delay.
Ask around in game and you may come across a thrown weapon or two.
You will learn Thrown Shot from Ranged Combat skill. Very similar to Called shot.
