save/update character data

In light of the recent crashes, is there some come ooc command we can use to save our character's stats beyond quitting and logging in again? It would be cool to have something like a "save" command available that I can just quickly use and reassure myself my character's latest efforts were not for naught.

The game does this automatically every 24 hours. With the server attack we recently suffered a save option wouldn't have helped because we had to recover from a previous day. Using the QUIT command is still the best way to ensure you made a clean disconnection from the game and your player data is saved.
